OK--sorry to be a bit behind in my posts. the Sunday before Easter I did IM NOLA 70.3 and it was a great experience and a definite physical challenge. I'll have the race report up by thursday--sorry for the delay. The week after I was pretty trashed so I focused on active recovery--mostly on the bike and did 14 hours or so.
This week I'm on it! At the beach for a mini "training camp". Two days and 8 hours in feeling the stress but knowing I need it. I intend to have a big week this week and I'll try to extend it into next week and then get ready for my next race, 5/4 at Bassman.
I'm definitely back in the saddle and enjoying the physical stress and most importantly, the adaptation to it. Glad to be a triathlete again!
