Volume updates

January monthly totals:

Swim: 4000 yards
Bike: 1,159 miles
Run/Hike: 60 miles
Other: 6.3 hours
Total time: 87 hours

This month is similar to 2017 in terms of total time training and is 9 hours less than last year.  I have a pretty intense work schedule now and its definitely eating into my training time.  Although I'm not really focused on swimming right now, I would have like to have done more but had to limit it due to general time constraints combined with the time inefficiencies of swimming.  The Run/Hike is also quite a bit lighter than I would like, especially given my need to get ready to climb in Bolivia in late May.

For February, I'm targeting 20,000 swim yards, around 1,000 miles cycling, and 100-120 miles of running and hiking.

The first full week in February (ended on 10th) saw these volumes:

Swim: 3500 yards
Bike: 325 miles
Run: 33 miles
Other 2.5 hours
Total Time: 29.8 hours

Obviously a bigger than expected week as I took advantage of a bit of a lull in my work schedule last week.  This week will be a lot less as I am on the road for the first three days this week.

Not optimal given work load but getting done what I can as best as I can!
